I sat nervously hoping Joe wouldnt come through the door when Greg showed up. Greg then came into my dorm with a few more bottles of pills and alcohol.
Kelsey: thank you.
Greg: No problem.
I grabbed my suitcase and everything I needed. I grabbed a Midol bottle and dumped them in the toilet. I poured the prescription drugs in the Midol bottle. Then I stuck it on the bed. Grabbing my clothes I put them in. I grabbed a box and put the alcohol in it. I hope they dont go through my luggage. Once I packed everything Greg left. 10 minutes later Joe came in and looked at me shocked.
Joe: oh you packed.
Kelsey: Yeah, I thought about it and I realized if I go. I get to see you every day. And thats basically what Ive been wanting for the past couple weeks. I just had to realize that you are better than any music program. And besides if youre gone and Im here I cant do this.
I went over and I kissed him. He deepened the kiss and pushed me against the wall. I wrapped my arms around his waist.
Joe: I love you.
Kelsey: I love you too.
Joe: so did you get everything?
Kelsey: yeah. Oh wait.
I saw the Midol bottle still sitting out. I grabbed it to put it in and he stopped me.
Kelsey: Joe, its just Midol.
Joe: What is Midol?
I shoved it in his face to have him read.
Kelsey: Do you want me to PMS when Im on my period?
Joe: oh.
He let me put it in. I giggled as his face went red. I leaned up and kissed his cheek.
Kelsey: alright, Im ready lets go.
We grabbed my stuff and went out the door. Apparently Joe had already contacted the academy and told them I was dropping it. We went over to the hotel and Angela and Amy were waiting by the tour bus. I guess we were leaving.
Kelsey: Are we leaving?
Joe: yeah. We are.
I went and hugged Amy and Angela. They were hesitant.
Angela: Bye.
Kelsey: Bye.
She turned to nick and they said their goodbyes. I went into the bus. Wow it was huge. Mr and mrs. Jonas welcomed me with open arms.
Kelsey: Im so sorry.
Mrs. Jonas: Dont be. We all have our weak moments. We just want to help you.
Kelsey: thank you.
Mr. Jonas: youll have to sleep in the back lounge is that ok?
Kelsey: yeah its fine.
I put my stuff back there. I felt two arms wrap around my waist.
Joe: do you care if I sleep with you?
Kelsey: I dont think your parents will approve.
Joe; well I told them I need to keep an eye on you and they agree. Thats why you are sleeping back here. Because its bigger. I just wanted to make sure you were comfortable first.
Kelsey: yeah Im fine with it.
He leaned down and kissed me.
Joe: So what do you want to do first?
My phone started ringing and I looked at the screen. My eyes went wide.
Kelsey: h-hello? Dad. Hey. Yeah. I know. Im sorry. I know I screwed up big time. I know. No Im not staying in New York. They are trying to help me. I know dad, it was a huge mistake. I know we do need to talk. I know dad, they all said the same thing. Yeah. Ok. Love you too. Bye.
Joe: what did he say?
Kelsey: he told me that I didnt need that stuff to feel good. That I was an amazing girl. That Im in big trouble. Basically everything you said to me.
Joe: Because its true. I just wish that you wouldnt think those things about yourself. I dont know what kind of music program they were running back there but its a shitty one.
I nodded and sat down.
Joe: I really want to say Im proud of you. For dumping the drugs and alcohol. I love you so much.
He leaned over and kissed the top of my head. I felt guilty. They were sitting right in my bag.
Kelsey: Anything for you.
We laid down and I enjoyed the time in his arms. I love him more than anything. I dont want to hurt him again. I might be able to do this. For him.
