Roland Emmerich's latest provocation, 'Anonymous', proposes that William Shakespeare was nothing but an illiterate buffoon who took credit for a series of plays written by the dashing and sensitive Earl of Oxford.
Emmerich, who's a director best known for shattering cities ('2012') and planets ('The Day After Tomorrow') than he is myths explains here in ten simple steps why he thinks Shakespeare was a fraud.

Hes making a political point. He's saying that a common, uneducated Englishman could not have written those plays, it must have been someone from the educated aristocracy.

We all know that Marlowe was the person behind Shakespeare's works. You want evidences of this? Well, there are only speculations. Speculations as speculative as the reasons given by Mr. Emmerich.

Regarding the comment of RyanTh3Lion, he needs to do some fact checking. Emmerich took no salary for this movie. Now do you start to get it? Google is your friend. Unlike you, Emmerich has some idea of what he's talking about.
