I hear a lot of Sugar and Bob riffs in a lot of tunes, but cheated? Ask Bob - he's a god to Husker devotees & is always growing. RESPECT FOR THE MAN.

@jfo1014 Sugar was supposed to be the next Nirvana. Bob Mold is a much better musician than Cobain. IMO.

Who gives a damn if Foo Fighters aped the sound and style. The music will tell the truth and either stand the test of time, or it won't. This song is fucking awesome and will remain dear to me until the put me in a box. I can't say that of any Foo Fighter song.

@jfo1014 Well, seeing as how a lot of early Sugar ripped off the Pixies ("A Good Idea" anyone?) I'm not too sad about this ;) Still, Mould is one of the best alt-guitarists of all time and I love his work.

@jacotango -- Could just as easily be said Cobain was lucky he was in a band with Dave Grohl. At least one could handle the fame and sorry if that sounds harsh.

@jfo1014 In hindsight, my comments were rude and uninformed. For one thing, I referred to Bob Mould as "Bob", as if I knew him by first name, which I don't. I never asked him for his opinion either, before posting my comments.

Do you think Bob feels completely cheated, since Dave Grohl pretty much modeled every aspect of his music after him and, as a result, has a license to print money because of it, while Bob still has to work for his dinner? I like Foo Fighters, but every time I listen to Husker or Bob solo, I get the sense that he's been cheated, big time.
