I have to agree...Ace has always found Kiss stifling when it came to his material (with Paul & Gene having complete "creative" control), as well as feel life on the road with Kiss is lonely & destructive (just listen to "Into the Void" & "Snowblind"). He sounds great on this tour & I'm psyched that I'm seeing Ace & his band perform in my area this week! Ace is the man! \m/

It's great to see Ace performing again and completely sober. The pressures of playing in KISS were probably too much for him over the years. He was somewhat stifled as a musician while in the band. The best material did not end up on Psycho Circus. No disrespect to Gene or Paul, but a sober Ace is a better rock musician than either of them, which says a lot. Ace has made a huge contribution to rock music both from within and outside one of the greatest bands of all time, if not the greatest.
