green is the greatest blues player to come outa britan, kirwan is right behind

I cant believe Rolling Stone magazine has Peter only at #38 in the 100 greatest guitar players list. I love Clapton but I think Peter was better with the blues especially with Danny.

@ryanjones1983 : Ditto on Danny. I try to forget that Rolling Stone ever made that list up. ITS HORRIBLE!!!!

@MorroccoM13 I couldn't believe Green was listed at 38 either but more shocked that Kirwan was nowhere on that list.. Never gets his due and probably the most underrated guitsrist of all time.. I think most people would be shocked to find out what lead parts Kirwan actually played..just as solid as Green and those two making music together definitely paved the way for countless bands / guitar duos.

?Right? Yeah , the best thing to do there is not pay attention to publications , only pisses me off more when i read that crap. I've never heard anyone feel the blues quite so pretty , and stevie rays the only other one to know , pagey doesn't count , got no lungs . Who'm i kidding , i love all of em

Absolutely. It's ridiculous, when he was on, Greeny was phenomenal.

Man, didn't know the Mac outsold the 2 biggest bands of the 60's!
But as we all know they blew minds with their raw bluz sound, with was the thing in 65 on. And still til today, u can't find better music.
A proud owner of the BBC Sessions and more with Green!!

Yeah he did, Harrison was a big fan too.
Que ' Sun King '. They wrote that in tribute to the Green God and is of course inspired by Albatross.
Can't blame them for taking notice of such talent, Fleetwood Mac outsold the Beatles & The Rolling Stones combined in 1968 ^^
