"Geetanjali International Folk Tang" of India performing at Barrio de la Cuereria , a historic neighbourhood of Acapulco, on Friday, 6th November, 2009 during the 3rd International Festival of Acapulco La Nao (5-8 November 2009). In all 12 countries including Mexico participated in this festival. India participated for the first time. Geetanjali International Folk Tang, led by Ms. Geetanjali Sharma, is a folk dance troupe from Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Acapulco, whose full name is Acapulco de Juárez, is a resort city and a major sea port in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico, 395 kms southwest from Mexico City. The name "Acapulco" comes from the Nahuatl language meaning a "place of big reeds".
