I haven't yet watched it all but from the first minutes I see that Derren is trying this to a lot of people and giving different horse names and some of his predictions(that aren't really predictions just bruteforce) are true ,I think this because now we are seeing things only from that girl's point of view

Criss loses by default because Criss has involved suggestion and hypnosis elements to his show AFTER derren has come into the picture. Because criss is so shitty at it as well. He's not nearly as good as derren in that field and still gets all the hype cause derren isn't as well known in USA. Criss is a camera angle using fuck. But that's just my opinion.
