I think Alice Brady had more honest emotion in this one scene than in her Oscar winning performance in IN OLD CHICAGO as Mrs. O'Leary. If they had the best supporting Oscar as far back as this, I would have given it to her hands down!
Eddie Quillan had a BIG role in this film, and 33 years later played an elevator operator in on of MY favorite films from 1966: THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN, starring Don Knotts. I hope he had MANY acting gigs between those years. Memorable face AND talent Eddie!
