In June 2011 A large group of us met up in Pensacola, Florida for one of my best friend's wedding. We rented a massive beach house and they got married right behind it.

I filmed everybody for most of the trip and this is the vacation video I put together. The couple that I focus on are the two who got married. Please rate, subscribe and, most of all - enjoy!

*Sigma 50mm, Canon 28-135mm IS and Tokina 11-16mm lenses
*Edited with Premiere CS5
*Color graded with numerous Magic Bullet Suite products
*Song 1 is Broke My Eyes by Donkeyboy, Song 2 is Ceremony by New Order

99% of this was shot on-the-fly, so by no means is it a display of perfect composition or exposure.

what can i use it for ? what are yours tips, suggestions ?

  • @LA7Dance Wide angle is perfect for landscape shots or big exterior shots, as well as epic shots in general. I usually always use my tokina when I use a glidetrack also.

  • hey what is the opening song??? epic video do you like the glide track hybide and what would be the negatives of it you think from personal experience??

  • hey can you please tell me the best setting on 60D to film in dark place? i mean restaurant? PLEASE?

  • Wonderful presentation! This is the kind of material I aspire to produce. Have been out of video and SLR (film) photography for years. Now I'm about to get myself a Canon 600d. Perhaps in time I'll get some accessories like a Glidetrack and start making polished footage like yours. Well done!

  • Where have you gone, more more more

  • Awesome video for it to be "shot on the fly". You obviously have a track system and most if not all of your shots were composed perfectly. You have great skill and I hope to be as good as you someday. I'll be getting my 60D soon and I can't wait. Keep up the good work!

  • the colours are very nice this should be on a holiday advert

  • was this color corrected as well

  • AND OWN A T3i !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NO WAY!! i live LIKE 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM MOST OF THESE SHOT YOU TOOK!!!!

i GO TO THE BEACH LIKE EVERY WEEKEND!!!!

  • @jameswalt1: Hey, get better very soon man. Was wondering why nothing's coming anymore. Your works are a great contribution to the DSLR video world. So get up and shoot something! :-)
