Watch me play Bach at a piano store trying out a Steinway piano. I also played the piece on a Kawai piano.

Bach: Partita No.3 in A Minor, BWV 827, Mvt.6.

  • The minor disturbance at 0:31 caused her to look up, but there was not one note missed. It must be hard to concentrate with people milling around on a shop floor. But our Vivian is one little trouper even at the age of nine; she showed them (in the nicest possible way of course.) You played with conviction and intelligence. You were so nice that you played it twice for us. That's sweet!!

  • @AuntSpode8899

Thanks for watching! That little girl running around in the store was Vivian's little sister Sabrina(4 year old at that time)... We were looking for a grand piano for Vivian, but it's way too expensive...

  • wow! there are 6 movements to this piece? Its a nice piece. I also like how there was no pedaling involved. lol. ^^ would u consider this piece to be rather difficult? anyway, great performance! ^_^

  • Hi Julien, thanks for watching! You can already play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Chopin Nocturne, I think this piece is not difficult for you.

  • LOVE IT!!! love Flavia

  • BRAVO!!!

  • Soo steady for a 9 y/o !!! When I was 9, I would have been jumping on and off my bed

    Great performance!!!

  • OUTSTANDING!

  • What you can do with a Bohemian!:)

  • lol Steinway pianos can cost up to more than a house sometimes.

  • It is so easy to see Vivian enjoys the piano so much! Jeann

  • Linda, you're right. At 0:50 and then again at 1:10, there was Sabrina in a pale lavenda dress flitting past at the back and then round the front, doing her trademark high-spirited, impish act. I was so proud to find out on the internet that Vivian was one of the "All Star Winners" at the NY Piano Teachers Federation event. Congratulations!! She is such a hardworking and humble kid. I am sure that one day, Vivian will have her own concert grand that will do justice to her talents.
