*Sequel to 'Better Than Me'*
AU; Nathan and Haley used to be together but broke up because Nathan thought she deserved better. Now., three months later, Haley is with Lucas and Nathan is with Peyton. One night, after she gets in a fight with Lucas, Haley calls Nathan because she feels like she has noone else she can turn too. Nathan starts to help her out, and eventually the two become friends again. Both of them begin to realize that they never stopped loving eachother, and Haley even begins to think that she can leave Lucas to be with Nathan again. Then she finds out Nathan is in fact with peyton and becomes angry that he never told her. Nathan goes to apologize to Haley and ends up kissing her. They realize they can't deny their feeling any longer and start sneaking around behind Peyton's and Lucas' backs. After awhile Haley stats to feel like 'the other woman' so Nathan promises that he'll leave Peyton and they'll find a way to be together. But then Haley sees Nathan and Peyton together at a party and convinces herself that Nathan will never leave Peyton. Nathan comes home that night and tells Haley he left Peyton at the party to come see her and that he loves her. Haley belives him so they continue to sneak around. Then at another party Haley finds out that Nathan's been telling Peyton than Haley is his tutor. When Haley confronts him about it, Lucas overhears and realizes what's been going on. He breaks up with Haley and of course Nathan is there to comfort her. It's then that he decides, once and for all, that he needs to choose. Should he break up with Peyton so he and Haley can be happy together? Or end things with Haley so she can finally move on to a better life.
