  • So instead of going to a safe, secure, long-term waste storage facility, the waste nuclear fuel rods just sit around in collecting pools? Not a good energy policy or national security policy. Dirty bombs, anyone? I support Obama, but I think that this ad was over the top. Nuclear waste has to go somewhere. This ad promotes a "not in my backyard" ideology for people in Nevada, so it's what he's criticizing McCain for (except that McCain flip-flopped).

  • so.. if not opening the yaka, where do they send the waste?

  • You need to work on your comprehension skills.

  • mccain just said he didnt support it...

  • obama

  • Obama '08

  • McCain...bad for Nevada...bad for America. If he straight talks, he negates it all with changing his position later. I thought Republicans were against flip-floppers?

  • NV will be a pick up for us democrats!

  • Senator Obama, I am only 17, and can not vote for you yet. But what I really think you really need to do is capitalize McCain on the issues you spoke of in the Audacity of Hope. Your book made me realize a lot about America, the world, and myself. If you can translate your words from your book, to your campaign, I know that you'll win.
