Toyota reached out to Parlee Cycles and Deeplocal to build an aero-road bike imbued with the same forward-thinking that went into the design of the Prius. Benefiting from a monocoque carbon-fiber frame, built-in smartphone dock, countless wind-tunnel-tested aerodynamic tweaks and its unprecedented mind-powered shifter, the PXP concept bike has emerged as a purpose-built machine that blends the simple with the complex to become a better and more efficient version of itself. Stupid and gay, real cyclists would never use this ridiculous crap. Automatic shifting??? "It'll shift because that's what you did last time?" Wow obviously made by a bunch of nerds crunching numbers. Di2 and EPS is cool, but I'll stick to mechanical red or super record thanks.

Right now, most brain-computer interface projects are simply proofs-of-concept; these projects are simply the starting point to something more complex, more amazing, something that will be a part of our daily lives in a few years (hopefully).

But I agree that a lot of people working on devices like these don't express themselves this way. It's hard to admit that a technology with such potential is still on it's early stages, but it's way easier to dream aloud!

The concept of a bicycle is that of simple yet very efficient technology. A high quality yet simple bicycle is a joy to ride and is basically the most simple and efficient machine ever designed for transportation. When idiots try to put electronics or combine it with other complicated new based technological devices they ruin it's basic simple concept. This is a bicycle designed by those who have never ridden one.
