(ENG) Historic Meeting in Cyprus - Civil Society Peace and Reconciliation - ENGAGE Project

Coverage of a historic meeting held at The Fulbright Centre, Nicosia, in July 2009 on the Role of Civil Society in the peace-building and reconciliation process in Cyprus. Speakers included UN Special Head of Mission in Cyprus, Taye-Brook Zarihoun, representatives of the community leaderships, George Iacovou & Ozdil Nami, guest speakers Professor Theodoros Kouloumbis and his excellency Ilter Turkmen, as well as representatives from Civil Society organisations.

The event was organized as part of the ENGAGE project implemented by The Management
Centre and the NGO Support Centre.
