It's a tool assisted speed run. Like slowing the game down so you can see and plan what's going to happen.

Why is the third stage on this game damn near identical to the Flying Battery stage on Sonic & Knuckles? WOW SEGA.

Too bad there was so much cliping on genesis version, made it hard to play sometimes, one of my favourite 16 bit game however.

SoR 2 was my all time favourite.

I never completed this game, although I remember thinking the graphics were amazing!
