in a rear wheel drive car using the left foot is not that important, especially on asphalt. If you use your left foot to break too much on asphalt it will wear out your tyres. In a front wheel drive car on gravel it is incredibly useful as way of creating oversteer.

BUT this has nothingh to do with Rally. Touges are not bumpy enough to be a Rally Stage.
