Well, ages after shelving the project I revived it. Reason is a new stator I got and some new calculations. Hopefully this will atleast keep me running on level ground.
The polycarbonate sidewalls are for test only. Not load. They will be replaced with alu once I have verified that all is well. So far it runns, but the rpm is too high. Will switch from Delta to Wye and retest tomorrow.

  • Hello. I would like to ask you on how many volts it runs and what is max current and possible torque please?

  • @LoserSVK I run it at approximately 15 volts in my kickboard. It pulls around 14 amps and delivers around 3 Nm torque. I am working on a larger one that will deliver 15 Nm. It will be even more fun!

  • @1kreature Im working on HUB 150mm diameter and 10 mm wide. I hope ill get 15Nm 300rpm at 24 V and curent around 20A with around 100 turns winding. It should be 48 poles/32permanent magnets 3 phase dc. But I hope 1mm diameter winding wont be low efficient. Can you tell me what diameter winding you use and if its in pair and if it gets hot easily and how hot?
