The Tonsillectomying Pt. 1 - The ENT

So! After year of actually needing one, I finally found a general doctor who would refer me to an ENT to get a consultation for a tonsillectomy. I have now been greenlighted, so now we start the process. Here is a summary of where I am at this point.

I am thinking about getting my tonsils out also....I just learned about cobolation and I hear it is a much improved recovery time....did you hear about this option>?? Please post your after surgery video...

Did you pick the Coblation technique?? Your description of the recovery time sounds like the old (painful) type that you may want to avoid.... I am thinking about getting this and just heard about the Coblation option for adults ......anyhow..just curious, please post your after treatment video response.

i just got my tonsillectomy done 4 days ago =s eating tons of ice cream lost of arizona green tea... mine where live +3 tonsils XDand well the pain i tought it was going to be alot worse but i fill OK xp hope you do ok..p.s the drugs they use to put you to sleep ROCK xDhahahaha

So, did you have it done? It sounds like you need to. I just had my tonsils removed 9 days ago and your voice sounds just like mine before I had them removed. I was a voice major and I'm an opera singer. Just vocally speaking, it sounds like your tonsils are touching. I am so glad that I got mine removed, but I will tell you that the pain is awful!! I know how it is to live with HUGE tonsils and it is horrible! I hope you are now post op and feeling better!!
