They are both AMAZING :) Coronation Street always gets a bit of humour in there though and i love and look forward to watching it :) In eastenders... its only a few characters i enjoy watching, lots of storylines annoy me and i get bored of them. Best character in EE=Janine and Best character is Corrie= Becky:)

But to everyone against corrie, may I mention that the first broadcasting of it was in 1960, so in that case corrie has gone further than eastenders all together!

@RockQueen231 That is all subjective, but the fact of the matter is if coronation street had not been made neither would anyother british soap. Eastenders is a carbon copy, like coronation street it is a working class 30minute show that centrals around working class neighbours who are normal looking. The quality between the show may alter and go up and down, but eastenders took everyting from coronation street

Eastenders is way better it has better characters a better theme tune and it has its own theme when its a happy ending or a much loved character leaves or dies
