Is the M5 only available in Europe for now? My next dream is going to be an M3, but if an M5 is made available within the next 6 to 10 years, I'll probably get that. I'm driving a 328i right now and I love it.

If you want "extreme" acceleration. You might want to the car at its extreme settings. Having the transmission in a slower shift mode (s3) is not "extreme". If your going to buy a big expensive car, you might want to learn how to use it.
And inflate your damn tires!

heh you are totally WRONG.
The gear change can be adjusted and in this video it is in the slowest setting.
The fastest setting often makes people uncomfortable.
Search youtube for "BMW M5 0-120 Mph 0 to 60 in 3.8!" for an example.

This gearbox is much faster than you can shift with manual.
