Between Alan Reynolds and Dan Mitchell , if they were in charge of our Govt Economics Fed Reserve and Secretary of Treasury, man we would be the beacon of Capitalism once and for all!!!.
And this does not include the laws this bill references for certain parts, are defined in other laws, does not include jurisprudence, how this bill is financed (it's a combination of employer and employee taxes), what exactly is covered in the basic coverage and how this all is actually paid for (if you want a headache I suggest you read up on that).
I've even got a evaluation paper of 215 pages here that deals with just a part of this law. So no, I can't do it justice in a few comments.
@sdfkjllshadflhadfshl I can describe the intent and general workings of it in a couple of sentences. Describe the actual law in a few comments on YouTube, no:
@CollinMaessen Your law can be described in a couple sentences, our is 2700 pages of goodies and handouts to corporations. I couldn't even begin to explain it in the space allowed here.
But this still doesn't equate to being a slave as you're still not someone's properties. If a law like this is the same as branding you as a slave, isn't paying for the fire department via taxes the same?
Now health insurance isn't exactly medical care, but it is what gives people the financial means to actually get the medical care they need (aka it's a tool, not the right itself).
So this is what I was referring to (not eloquently/clear, but that's what I meant).
And you can opt-out of this system if you want (not to familiar with all the details/laws involved). You can even opt out of parts selectively, like for coverage for example genetic screening.
Well actually there is something defined like that in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
@CollinMaessen There is no such thing as a right to health care, that is a lie told by socalist scumbags to grab power over people. Do you have a right to hair care? Car care? Child care? Care bears? If you don't think your a slave try telling your government that you have decided to opt out of thier system, tell them your on your own from now on. Tell them your not going to pay anymore. Then see what happens.
@UtherPendragan In my country the law says that an insurance company cannot deny anybody coverage with a pre-existing condition, there are no spending caps for medical relevant treatments that will cure you, or in the very least treat the disease you have effectively.
These conditions don't extend beyond basic coverage. And you are free to choose your health insurance company.
How does that equate to being a slave or just being allowed one child? It extends your rights, not shrink them.
@CollinMaessen If you are forced to sign up and be in this system the price is much higher than money. You are a slave. Perhaps a happy slave with good health care, but still a slave. In China you can only have one child, its for the greater good. The people there allow the government to dictate to them the size of thier own family. Many people support this idea, I think its crazy. I don't want anyone telling me what I can and can not do. Its called freedom, try it you will like it.
