The Sturmgewehr 44 was the first assault rifle used on a mass scale and it was a truly fearsome weapon. Still, it was introduced too late and in a too small quantity to make a difference in World War II. Some historians state that the rifle was introduced in secrecy, behind Hitler's back, as he would not approve of the project. However, most probably the Fuhrer wasn't that stupid and he actually, he supervised the project all along. Initially, it was called the MP44, and was treated as as powerful smg. It had open bolt action. Later, the Germans decided to give closed bolt action and create the group Sturmgewehr, which means assault rifle. This name has become widespread.
On the Eastern front, a group of German soldiers was cut off on Soviet territory. However, the Luftwaffe sent them a shipment of equipment and weapons, including the StG44. When the Russian PPSh could shoot 200 meters far, the StG could deal destruction over 500-600 meters. The Germans cut through Soviet territory back to their comrades like a knife through butter.
This is why the Russians soon afterwards introduced the ak47, which somewhat resembles the Sturmgewehr in construction.
The StG 44 was heavier than the ak47. It had a vulnerable stock due to the way it was attached. The ak47 was sturdier, more reliable and lighter. Nonetheless, the range of the Kalashnkikov is only 250 meters, while the StG44's range is 500-600 meters, which makes a difference in open terrain. The StG44 was also more ergonomic, pratical in use and accurate.

If possible, could you show how you made the action? preferably the trigger and bolt being connected.It is hard to see.

@boffinboy100 I've got a movie on my channel that shows how to make the trigger assembly like this. It's all there.

@kiwdulbf
Thank you, but I meant the bolt carrier assembly aswell. It doesn't show it.

@boffinboy100 Well, frankly speaking, I made the bolt and bolt carrier as one piece, so there's no secret there. I even once made an experimental system that had the StG44's locking, but was big, crude, ugly and unreliable.

@Legogir Note that I never even mentioned to be Russian. People will just tell this themselves. True, the accent was faked, but an to an American the difference would be actually negligible when comparing to my mother tongue, which is Polish.
