Sega Prifun commercial - 1994 Sega Printer

This commercial is for the Sega Prifun, a printer for the Sega Saturn and other video sources.

It used rolls of thermal dye and special papers. For some reason, late in the Saturn's life they were dumped in Electronic Boutique stores in the united states for $20 in spite of the inability to get refills, or any real english instructions.

There were floppy disk drives for the Sega Megadrive in Japan.. Could also work on the Genesis! ;)

This came out in the USA? I thought this was Japan only because I haven't even heard of one back in the day! I grew up in the 90s and I don't remember printer for Saturn ever came out.
