@formyfriendphil Either you are a troll or you're just so much of a fanboy that you can't even recognize what Phantom is the best at. Their mellophones are easily their best aspect and that's because of a certain J.D. Shaw that arranges beautiful mello lines that he most likely makes them play perfectly over and over again. I can't even remember the names of the shows that BD has won with, because they are so forgettable. But I will NEVER forget Spartacus (and Mad World, which deserved a win).

This was hardly one of the best mello lines in dci history, wasn't even in top 3 that year. Crown, Devils and Cavies were much better in 2008. What a shame for the 2 corps that were clearly much better that year, and possibly even Crown should have beaten Phantom overall that year. Colorguard was not good at all, visual GE was almost all the killing of the drum major, which was done by a high school band 2 years earlier, and done much better with the DM falling off the podium.
