Right now, obamas approval is down to like 43% and over 60% of the voting public has said WE DONT WANT THIS HC BILL-- yet he marches on, screw what the country wants. Bottom line is we pay their salaries, they are supposed to work for us and our word is supposed to matter, what a joke. its alll about theyre pary and personal agenda's and how much power and control they can amass over us. These socialists dont want the voter to have any say, and they will do away with it if they can-!!

You think the unemployment rates are bad now? What do you think will happen when they bring home 250k+ troops? This depression is the only reason our troops are not home yet.
And its not going to get better until our government fears the people.

dude..if you payed attention to obamas campaign, he pledged to end the Iraq war, not the war in Afghanistan...and ending a war will take more than 9 months. Other countries obviously take a liking to our president, and whether or not you believe he deserves it, i would rather other countries approve his ideas, rather than to not. i think the man needs more time hes dealing with a lot of shit right now.

is awarding to outstanding human beings who do much to end war, promote peace and understanding throughout the world, Barack Obama isn't the first controversial winner of the prize and won't be the last. His win wont change what i believe.

world and their image with countries who haven't thought all that highly of america in the last 8 years. I do believe they're were more deserving candiates of the award, and they could very well still win but heaping criticisms on Obama over his undeserved nobel prize don't seem important, time will tell whether he deserved it or not and what's more important is his actions in iraq and afghanistan and how he handles the country. The Nobel peace prize to me does still mean something and

Many world leaders and former nobel laureates have supported the choice and praised obama for his ongoing endeavours to make the world and a safer place and that he embodies a new spirit of dialogue and engagement in the world's biggest problems, clearly some people think he doing things right, at least in the last year. I personally don't think Obama has been sitting on his hands the last 12 months, he has done significant things to help promote peace and improve the U.S relations with the

probably are the reasons the nobel commitee decided to award Obama with the peace prize. They clearly thought his efforts to reach out to places like the middle east and promote peace, end nuclear proliferation and climate change in the past year made him the best recipient. Obama himself says he doesn't feel like he deserves the award but is willing to accept it as a call to action to promote peace and live up to the expectations on him.

I'm not going to jump on the bandwagons of the pro and anti obama people who think he should and should not have received the award. The award has been given to Obama, not much people can do about it now but don't forget the prize can be awarded to persons or organisations who are in the process or ending a war or creating peace, whether you beleive that or not. Obama's efforts on promoting nuclearnoproliferation, tackling climate change and fostering diplomatic relations around the world.

It is unbelievable how they gave it to him.
This is the world we live in, nothing is sacred and minds can be won with money and lies.

I'll have to admit that your comments are very reasonable compared to the whiny drivel coming from the right.
Based on the contents of Nobel's will:
...and one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses...
I'm not sure how they think Obama is the right person to receive the award.
