  • hey man, that sounds good!

I've got one of the Blackheart 5w amps which is basically the valve junior... great little amps.

I've nearly bought a harley benton G212 before, but from the photos Ive found I can't see if the back panel or the speaker grille are removeable to enable me to replace the speakers... can you confirm if this is possible or not?

    cheers

  • Stock speakers and yes, you cant open the back panel, well with a saw you can... haha! I havent tried the front grill... just dont want rattels and it dose sound good as is.

  • what mods again on the vlv jr?, hammond OT and what else?

  • and TAD tubes, that´s all.

  • man

    you rock!!

  • sounds good

  • @rowbi12345 thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_ga212r_02.htm

  • Having a larger cab will help it push more air and fatten up the tone, but it isnt going to increase its actual volume. If you're going to gig, the safe bet with tube amps is at least 15 to 20 watts.

  • If you read what my response was to, you might know whats up, but since you failed to look above you, your pissing in the wind dude.

  • @RNRDOLL .. and this is a review of the Harley benton package which includes the head and a 212 cab. what are you on?

  • these cabs any good?

    how reliable are they?

  • IMO that amp and speaker are fit for the skip.

  • Dude, make that Pm-20 pro sound really good on a better amp. =P sounds like my crappy peavey starter amp. lol infact mine might sound better.

  • this IS shit
