Hahaha the gti is a 5 speed and even if it was a 6 speed it wouldn't make a differance that extra gear only gives you like 300 rpm extra lol

first off, i love vr6's but it would only win top end if both are stock. i dont like this vr6 or the driver but it is pretty quick and beats srt4s . and this is my gti when it had the stock turbo not 6 gears haha its a 5 speed

mods:

vr6 - I/H/E, software, short throw shifter, lots of light weight mods, cams and what not

my gti - intake, downpipe, exhaust, software, dv, cutout of a few of the runs thats it

this vr6 is very slow, normaly vr6 kills this gti

if vr6 would have 6 gears like this gti have it, the gti would be behind. nobody with new cars after year 2000 doesn't race equaly. if somebody would have only 4 gears and the other have 7 gears, that one with 7 gears would switch to all that 7 gears and would talks around that hes car was faster even if it have less powerful engine. c'mon
