i had to replace the steering rack and pump to fix the noise. Maybe the bullitt models have better steering components then a v6 model. cause mine was a v6 too

the p/s pump in my moms v6 mustang is loud but on my bullitt mine is barley noticable unless your stnding still turning the steering wheel and holding the brakes hard(hydro-boost brake assist)

probably the power steering pump, mustangs are notorius for loud ones. people thought i had a turbo mine was so loud
