Cute birds you have there!
I would like to have a blue crown too, but those conures can scream ugly, my conure never screams, but my indian ringneck screams all day long:( and my lovebirds do the same, now my african grey imitates them some times

Why did you clipped karma wings??? =/
IlaRossetti 2 years ago
I clipped them because I feared she would fly out the house - since that is how I expect she was found outside.
It helped that she had to trust me because her escape route was minimized.
After a year she has her wings back. I have considered clipping them, but I can see that she is much happier fully flighted. She flys around the house and lands where ever I am.
I don't regret clipping her wings, but I have a hard time doing so again.

How old was Karma when you rescued her?

Unfortunately, since she was rescued from outside, there is no way of telling how old she is. So I don't know.

why did you rescue her from the outside was she liek hurt or something?? Or was she just abandoned there i have a sun conure and i kno that conures are very loving. I am thinking of getting a blue crowned in march or sep. would you recomend?

She was just outside abandoned or escaped. If you have sun conure, you should have no problem with the blue crown. Karma is a one person bird that tolerates and gives marginal affection to my boyfriend. Otherwise, she is on my shoulder whether I want her to be or not. She cuddles, whispers in my ear, preens me. I would highly recommend the blue crowns.

I would go for a rescue. She was alot of work at first, but she has done a complete turn around. She is stubborn and sassy, but what conure isn't? Let me know when you post a video of your new addition. Good Luck.
