  • Nice review man, and thank you for serving our country! my brother is just about to finish basic training, then he's off to college, so i really appreciate our troops. I don't understand the hippies who think you guys are evil murderers...

Either way, were the M44's (ones with bayonet) zero-d with the bayonet attached, and the M38's (without bayonet) zero-d with no bayonet? because i know that some models are more accurate with the bayonet attached...

  • @psychoclown420 Most M91-30s were actually sighted in with the bayonet attached. In fact, they didn't even issue scabbards for the bayonets. once they were attached, they were pretty much impossible to remove.

  • HI Iraqveteran, is the Mosin Nagant Hex 1891/30 for 89.95 the good one to get from aimsurplus

  • @223inyourskull Thats the average going rate.

  • im having a hell of a time pulling up the stock rings while field stripping, and I keep scratching my stock with them. any tips on how to make them slide a little easier?

  • @flythegadsden Coming soon...

  • Great review, sir. I have one of these (1942, Izhevsk) that I plan on using as my deer rifle for the near future, and I'll admit I've kinda fallen in love with it after a couple of plinking days...

  • There is a very very detailed MN website on the net. Hint: it has 7.62 x 54 in it's URL title.

  • Im strong but im short. im 5'6" would you recommend the carbine for Me

  • I was thinking of about cutting my barrel and having it recrowned. My question is what is the main reason for doing so? I notice that alot of people like shortening there barrel. Thank you for your time.

  • Russian guns are always interesting to look at, becuase most of them have a uniqueness that you only find in Russian manufacturers

  • @Iraqveteran8888 That's wierd you say that, my M91/30's bayonet flew off the front the first time I shot it. Unfortunately we fired over a river during flood season and my bayonet landed right in it. Bout fifteen feet of water going at thirty miles per hour. Hit my target though! Fml

  • @Iraqveteran8888 what version is the carbin or shorter one

  • I know it's been mentioned before but thank you for serving our country.

Second, awesome reviews. I feel as I know this gun and I haven't even bought it yet.

  • I am thinking about getting a Mosin-Nagant rifle. Who makes (or imports) the best overall rifles. God bless our troops and vets!

  • weaker people or women, haha good one
