  • @SovereignBeing sure it does, except for people in long-term relationships - it may not work too well.

  • @BladesOfMunch abstaining works well..!

  • @SovereignBeing Guess as the nurse says, there is no perfect method. Would be good to see something stable come out on market - current products have a hint of non-reversibility, or long-term issue - which product(s) ARE the most stable anyway? I don't think I know of any that have only a handful of potential problems.

  • @BladesOfMunch thats correct... and also there is a risk with condoms, because many have talc on them, which is linked to cervical cancer..

  • Generally, anything that messes with your hormones has the potential to be "not good for you" in the long run.

  • @darkiestar1 The reversible methods with the highest rates of effectiveness are the IUD, the implant, and the shot, but it all depends on the individual. Check out bedsider.org to see more information about the different methods and to compare them for effectiveness and other factors.

  • me and my gf always use a condom but recently we've had some scares, i looked it up and they do fail, sometimes, whats the most effective?

  • "There are a few side-effects but you don't have to worry about it" ???!!!! Ha that's an ugly one.

  • Douching after intercourse?
