After seeing his extremely creative vision in Blade II, Pan's Labyrinth, and Hellboy II, I think we're in for a treat once The Hobbit hits the big screen (add to the fact that Peter Jackson has complete confidence in him) although I wonder just how it will look, since Del Toro has always had a much heavier emphasis on physical effects/makeup rather than Peter Jackson's emphasis on CGI. Regardless I'm glad he's filming in NZ. =]
