Wow I was about 14 years old when I first heard this song. I am 55 years old and I still listen to it with passion like it was the first time.

Scoop picking...so Santana!!!

@frontierizo - Trust me, it's not that easy and especially back then. Hendrix used feedback often for effect, where as Santana relies on it for sustain. You can tell that his position near his amps is a very fine balance between possible feedback-sustain..or, overwhelming piercing microphone feedback.

@Snotra he is not battling it, he is using it musically Hendrix and Santana had great control over feedback

Poor guy...trying to avoid feed back from primative equiptment!

Let's acknowledge that jazz-guitarist Gabor Szabo wrote and recorded "Gypsy Queen".

Grande Carlos Santana esa fusion latina es maravillosa.Gracias por subir el video.
Thank you for posting this video and please note and retitle it since this clip actually contains two songs: Black Magic Woman and Gypsy Queen, which in my view this last instrumental (Gypsy Queen) is the greatest example of what could be named Latin Rock.
