LYRICS BELOW. Nearly everyone I've ever known, including those in the church has treated me like a good for nothing useless worthless barrel of garbage. All I've ever heard from them is "Go away, you're bothering us. Get outta here!" They didn't say that in words, but it certainly was conveyed by their demeaning, humiliating, mean-spirited actions. A lifelong battle with rejection beginning with my father leaving me at birth, to kids verbally abusing me, beating me up in school...then getting the same abusive treatment in church. Then my mom abandoning me and disowning me. Finally I met a different kind of person: someone who helped me see that I am not a liability or a hunk of trash. I realized through her that the three most important things anybody needs is acceptance, trust and love - all of what I never got growing up. I am most grateful to her, and for reaching out to me with unbridled fearless radical love, and for having the Fathers heart for me. A TRUE Christian and a TRUE friend! So this song speaks volumes to me.
