I have to do a little bragging because I'm at Chads house right now and we are playing ping pong.

Some people just can't see the greatness in his pitching. He is just one of the most unique pitchers in all of baseball.

A: Movement > Velo [especially for sidearmers/submariners].
B: 90 is a little quick for a Bradford type arm-angle; the ball tends to straighten out the harder it's thrown. Bradford's movement is more effective in the 85-87 range (usually where he sits).
C: Sidearmers/submariners just tend to look more funky than your generic pitcher (most can attribute their success to that factor and their movement; not usually velocity from down low).

*who has a "pitch-identification irony"*
Sorry, grammatical error.

To be completely honest, Chad Bradford is one of those pitchers who have a "pitch-identification irony" when he releases the ball. His submarine windup is so perplexing that you might think they actually throws the ball at the ground, thus causing it to make a huge leap towards the batter and catcher. I wish that specific talent was innate to me.
