To be completely honest, Chad Bradford is one of those pitchers who have a "pitch-identification irony" when he releases the ball. His submarine windup is so perplexing that you might think they actually throws the ball at the ground, thus causing it to make a huge leap towards the batter and catcher. I wish that specific talent was innate to me.

Many professional hitters actually admit that they would rather face a pitcher throwing in the high 90's rather than to face a sidearmer. Sure, the fear factor in facing a sidearmer isn't as great as it is against a flame thrower, but it takes more skill and focus to hit a sidearmer.

stfu... weve heard that enought... ya i saw him pitch vs the blue jays last year... when he was with the orioles.. lol he had like an 84 mph fastball... pretty good for underhand.. he still beats Byun Hyun Kim who hits only 82 lol
