Romanian soprano Nelly Miricioiu sings "E strano ... Ah forse lui ... Sempre libera" from Verdi's "La Traviata" at Teatro Oviedo, in Spain, 1984. Her stage partners were Jose Carreras and Juan Pons.
Finally! I had to go to YouTube to find a performance of Miricioiu hitting those Cs. I paid top dollar for box seats at the SF Opera to see her live back in the '90s and she missed every one of those Cs and the D-flat by a mile. After that disaster, she was never invited back.
It's the first time I listen this great singer and I loved her vibrant voice! Her Cs are wonderfulls, brights and very clears, with perfect affination. Is evident that this role is for her 100%. I can't imagine a better Violetta. Thanks for post this video.:)
it's not a d flat. it's an e flat.

Yes, the best of the Violetta of the 80s: that's why she was invited all over the world to sing in most of the big Houses!
