@aggirlgrace tv series was set in Walnut grove, not here in Kanas. That said, yes I know what you mean about the size lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was the Verdigris (Verdegree) River to bring Christmas gifts to the Ingalls girls. It was in Kansas though.

That was really nice. I like the well that Pa dug...That is very cool. In a book, Mr. Boast (I think) fell down the well and Pa try help him....Ma turn the wheel to up and Pa took him. He is fine when got out of the well.

Mr. Scott was the character in the book who went down into the well while they were digging it without first sending down the candle to be sure the air was safe. Mr. Boast is a character in the later books of the series.
