2006 SRT8 Overheating issue

For whatever reason, the Hemi has been overheating. This is what it is currently maxing out at. I have had the dealership replace the thermostat.

My '06 CSRT also overheated. Not insured at the moment, but once it is, I'm going to be checking the fans since that is a common issue (they stop working). Might get a new 180* thermostat, too.

@pun420 That was the issue. One of the fan motors and a module failed. Was around $1300 Canadian to repair. I ended up getting the most sound advice on GMforum.com of all places.

@2tone93gt $1300? Really? You can get new fans for $100, and a new thermostat for $13 at rockauto (google it).

@2tone93gt yea i know ur from canada right away because its extremely rare to find a charger in europe ESPECIALLY an SRT..plus all dodge cars are from canada...right? i might be wrong there haha
