Sometimes the reason some people are bad sports is probably because they're jealous of the others or they think that they're better than some other people. Like Squidward was in "The Great Snail Race" he wasn't being a good sport because he was insulting Spongebob's snail Gary by calling him a Mongrel Mutt and that's how he lost.
