Absolution (2007)

'Absolution' is the story of Tom Foreman, a car insurance salesmen whose life is turned upside down after his loving wife of many years is killed in an accident. Convinced his wife's death is his fault, Tom lives a life of pain and grieving, drowning his sorrows in alcohol abuse and other things.

Just when things seem to be at their worst, a young woman knocks on Tom's door, interested in buying Tom's place. The pair strike a bond as Tom tries to find redemption for his dark past.



It is a story of love, guilt, and redemption featuring actors Brock Shoveller and Allison Riley.

This was a 2nd yr film school short that I directed in 2007. It was screened in Montreal as part of the YoungCuts Film festival that same year.
