Byron Dragway is a NHRA sanctioned drag strip, it HAS to be level. Its just an visual illusion that it is down hill. The shut down area is up hill, so it adds to the illusion.

@WheatJ718 Exactly, the end of the track is up hill. You can check out the track on Google earth and check the elevation through out the whole track. It maintains a level surface until the end where it goes up.
