another question: my 606, if not connected to the socket for a while, loses it's programmed patterns… is there a battery inside for the memory? and if, what kind of battery, and where could i buy one… and if i replace the batterie, will the 606 lose it's patterns again? thanks a lot for useful answers!

sounds very useful… i like the longer decay on the snare a lot. but also the shorter on the cymbals… a tasteful mod, not destroying the sounds. i recently bought a 606 on ebay, looks like new, thats why i wouldn't mod it, but the extended possibilities are tempting. how much did you pay for the parts?

HAHA!! That 606 looks like one of those gus with piercings all over and giant flesh holes in the ears.

I'd love to mod mine, but the memory seems to be buggered, like if there's no hi-tom on the last step it'll only play 13 steps. No Hihat on step 14- doubles the speed.. What's wrong with it?
