Megaman X8 - Jakob Elevator, SNES Style

A rearrangement of MMX8's Jakob Elevator stage theme, executed by moi. This is the first song I've produced using both MMX melodic instruments *and* MMX drums. I've used the melodic instruments before, just not percussive. I don't like having each of the separate drum parts in different channels as well, but it wasn't so bad. This also has considerable improvements over my past MMX-style musical exploits because I've learned to smooth out the release of instruments, add portamento, a makeshift form of vibrato, made extensive use of pitch-bending, and some other small details.

The tune was transcribed for the in-progress Megaman X Engine by YouTube user GameDragon2k. (Check out his profile for videos of it in action: http://www.youtube.com/GameDragon2k ) The engine is being created in Multimedia Fusion 2, and will become open-source to the public once it is deemed complete. It's perfect except for my absolute favorite part of the song, but I don't fault you for that, since I highly doubt the SNES can emulate the extremely high-octave guitar in the middle. So yeah, FUCKING EPIC remix brah.
