Don blame Reagan Blame the NAACP for taking them out of the homeless shelters and clinics that were taking care of mental illnes people under the exuce of not being free to make there own choises. These people are sick and can't make any decisions on there own. They were better off in these institution than sitting in the gutter were they are now starving and still sick.

Tom, thank you so much. You bring to light what so many refuse to see. Your work is monumental, through the eyes of your camera we can see into the hearts of so many people that on the surface seemed dead until closer inspection. I hope you read this... It is a shame that Tom's photographs do not translate very well on this video.... they look grayish and washed out. In reality, his photography is some of the most stunning and important documentary work you will ever see. Look up his web site.....Tom Stone Gallery
