Hey. Firstly, apologies for the long video, I do tend to waffle [talk] quite a bit and, as many of you have pointed out;I say "Umm" and "Uhh" quite a lot, so thats probably to blame for the length of the video :p

This video goes into detail about David Sprunger's 'Great Blues Riffs'.
A full version of this can be found one of his videos at this link:

Hope this video helps and gives you some cool ideas.

Ben

    Respect bro ;D

  • this is so cool! I am a aspiring professional pianist and these sort of videos really help me on my quest for stardom

  • @ixSTRAFExi

getting used to a real piano just takes practice and finger strength

    so just play, play, play

(okay, maybe five finger pushups will help, but that might be a little extreme :P )

  • Very helpful. I've only played classical piano up to now, so crushing doesn't come naturally to me -- I keep wanting to use 4-5 instead of 4-4. But I'm working on it...

  • Hey Ben thanks for this video,it is very helpful.Excellent job!

  • good video but make sure you get your facts right and actaully know what your playing, because most of the time you put in extra notes on top of what you tell us to get those bluesy accents. take the time to go over every note you play!

  • @ixSTRAFExi Most people prefer the piano touch no matter what kind of keyboard they are playing and I think the keyboard is of the same kind

  • the only problem for me is I don't have a keyboard I have an actual piano and I cant move to fast on it because the keys have so much more resistance than keyboards do

  • u should play this on piano if your have one couz its sounds much better

  • LONG LIVE BLUES!!!
