whats the difference between Formula 125 and TAG?

We run a spec class at Englishtown Raceway Park karting that is called Formula 125...It is a Parilla Leopard 125 cc TAG engine on any chassis, and a spec tire MG Red...We utilize qualifying on our races, where the TAG classes use a pea-pick method to grid the start of each heat

cool thanks.. i like the qualifying idea. Dont really understand the pea-pick thing.. I went there to check out a race and was confused why there were soo many heats before the final

A Typical race Sunday at the track consists of two 8 lap heat races for each class, and then a 10 lap final heat race for each class. The pea pick works by each driver picking a numbered chip at morning registration, higher numbers grid at the front of the first heat race, then the grid is reversed for the second heat race. The final heat grid position is then determined by the finish results of the first and second heat races. We use our first heat race as a qualifying session.

And you guys also have an open airbox, which means you can use any airbox you want. Its the premier class at etown :)

Any CIK approved airbox, any diameter tubes...Most of us run 30mm tubes
