HISTORY-SOVIET GEORGIA

South Ossetia - the state for which territory the Georgian authorities apply. The first war here has occurred to Georgia in 1991 after Ossetia has proclaimed the independence and has held an election in the Supreme body. Georgia has entered on its territory of an army, has disconnected power supply of Osset cities. Groups of civil guardsmen and volunteers could defend independence of the state. The Georgian military men have receded. As a result of the conflict was lost about four thousand persons. The summer of 1992 had been signed Dagomys agreements on cease-fire. The world in republic was provided with the Russian peacekeeping forces. To settle the conflict it was planned by peaceful way. However to any negotiations have not resulted results. Despite numerous statements of the Georgian management about ненападении Georgia has decided to win South Ossetia. On the night of August, 8th, 2008 of Tbilisi has started operation "on constitutional order prompting in South Ossetia". Order have started to direct blows of heavy artillery on capital of South Ossetia - to a city of Tskhinvali. Then the city included infantry and tanks. The Georgian military men suited a local population genocide, killing old men, women and children. According to the Minister of Defence of Russia, the Georgian armies finished wounded Russian peacemakers and civilians. As a result of storm was lost more than 1500 persons of the peace population of South Ossetia, the Georgian saboteurs took local residents in hostages, and roads with refugees shot installations залпового fire "Hailstones".
