Jefferson 500 Vintage 2009 Group 5 practice

This is a view from my Spridget #909. The Spridget is a somewhat tired little warhorse (60+ weekends of racing).
At this point, the engine makes mostly wheezing and farting noises so I have chosen to hide the push-rod cachophany with generic (and free) internet-music.
I had some carb problems that caused me to run super lean (it was fastest at half-throttle....at full throttle it went slower and just made more noise). Sometime I would pass omeone and then it would slow down (?!?!). On a good day, it makes about 60 HP......I can't imagine what it was making in the state it was in? Still, had a great time at this VRG event.
