Your posts indicate that not only are you ignorant of women's health, but ignorant of the simple fact that a man has to fail to keep it in his pants for pregnancy to occur at all.

Concerning the matter at hand, until you demonstrate some real interest in, understanding and appreciation of the realities and medical complexities of pregnancy, child-birth and women's health, your feelings on this - when it comes to the health of people completely unassociated with you in any way - don't have much weight.

@TyrannySue Do you read what I post? I said the man should be held responsible for the woman and the child. The man should support the woman and the child. The man should have rights. The woman is responsible for the safety of the child. Both parents are responsible.

The anger in your words and your attempts to rationalize away the fact that a human life is growing inside the mother speaks loud and clear about what kind of person you really are. As an English teacher I'm keenly aware of the definition of elective and convenient. Real convenience is a girl spreading her legs confident in the knowledge she can simply erase her baby with a simple and convenient procedure

To all sexually active heterosexual males (particularly the vocal anti-choice ones): Prevent an abortion by simply using contraception. If you can't manage a condom then get a vasectomy. Be accountable for your actual part in this.

It is an extremely simple fact that unwanted pregnancies are created by men as well as women.

@miket1m So in your view, the woman has the responsibility to protect life and should therefore be denied abortion, and the man should have the right to prevent an abortion but should not be held morally or legally accountable for his share in creating the unwanted pregnancy. That sounds really balanced and ethical.

@TyrannySue Like I said, the man has no rights legally whatsoever. The woman's job is to protect the life inside of her. No excuse justifies killing what is inside the woman. What is growing in the woman has human DNA and is human. Aborting this life can be called nothing else other than murder.
