  • great upgrade, doing some homeage stuff really saves on cost, if it works thats great, looks like it works for you well...I ordered some rechargable AA's so hopefully I will have that vid on the new mag mod comming soon, should be an incandescent pumping out 800 lumens running on 6 rechargable AA's...All you have to do is buy the parts and drop them right in, no flashlight knowledge needed, anywayh Im really glad to see your got innovative and uopgraded your mag! • Google SELUX2AA3W-B I own this flashlight. It's lightweight, very bright, and uses a Luxeon LED and (2) AA batteries. It's the best flashlight I have ever owned. It's expensive, but you don't have to modify it.

  • wow...ingenious but yet rigged together. cr123 will be too costly to use on a regular basis, use a 18650 lithium ion instead. 2 cr123 = 1 18650

I'm working on a 3000 lumens maglite, but it's a little more costly then what you have here.

  • use a joule thief to get more power with the original batteries

  • @Fourteen88SoCal My thoughts exactly.

  • lol you use the same magnification as me nice:D

  • I'll stick with the D cell batteries...at least when i hit someone in the head with it i know it's not going to break

  • what led do you use?

  • maglights are cool to collect i have a 4 d cell dark blue laying around which i found in the trash i'm just dying to upgrade it to l.e.d to make it like no other

  • @aussieaddict122 ill have you know have been on the striking side of the maglight i really wouldnt trust my life to them. One hit might bring down a 95 year old lady but its prolly not even bringing down most 15 year olds.

  • @aussieaddict122 There are several reasons one might want to have a lighter flashlight. People don't always use maglights for weapons. I'm a camper/hiker/backpacker and I would love to have a lighter maglight to cut down on my backpack weight. You'd get an indestructible flashlight that's light. Things like that are hard to come by.
